Manor House Wedding at Hartsfield Manor in Surrey

What a brilliant wedding!

What a crazy wedding too… “Wild” was how the venue described Roxy and Duncan’s wedding!!

Everyone had such a fantastic time - it was an amazing mixture of happiness, relaxing, partying, just shooting the breeze on the rear terrace, and celebration.

All enhanced by Duncan and Roxy’s infectious sense of humour. It’s fair to say there was a bit of ‘larking about’!

When I asked them what they were most looking forward to on the day, saying "I Do”, seeing their friends and family, and the grandeur of the day were top of the list.

Roxy’s favourite colour is lilac, so that was used for the colour scheme, from the bouquets, the cake accents, flowers at the wedding breakfast tables, bows on chairs, the bridesmaids’ (who looked fab) dresses, all the way through to the pocket squares in the guys suits.

They chose Hartsfield Manor for it’s grandeur. Honestly, both the front and back of the Manor House has amazing grounds, but the views across the hills from the rear terrace are just stunning. We were spoilt for choice with photo locations.

Roxy also loved the grand staircase, so it just had to be the location for her ‘first look’ with Dad.

Foodwise, champagne and canapés were served at the drinks reception. They went for an options based menu at the Wedding Breakfast though “to cater for our fussy guests”!

They really wanted the outdoor ceremony to WOW their guests, and it absolutely did…

As their guests sat outside in front of the pergola, Roxy escorted by her Dad, appeared from the manor house! The gardens were spectacular with flowers in full bloom. The flower girls scattered petals in front of Roxy and her Dad as they walked down the red-carpeted aisle towards Duncan, waiting with the biggest grin on his face!

And all this accompanied by a brilliant pianist.

Here are just a few images from the day to show the grandeur, and the fun…

If you’re planning a wedding at a Manor House, or somewhere completely different that’s more ‘you’, I’d love to hear what you’re dreaming up!
