Paul and Clare’s Sussex barn wedding at Cissbury Barns, at the base of the South Downs, north of Worthing was amazing!
They wanted a rustic themed wedding because of their love of the outdoors, and the two flint barns, one of their favourite features, with wooden beams was a perfect fit. As Clare and Paul put it, the thing they were most looking forward to on their wedding day was to share it with their family and friends.
Bridal prep took place at the nearby Findon Manor followed by an emotional First Look with Dad! Then… off to the Barns in the VW Campervan, which had earlier taken Paul, Dad and his best men from home to the venue.
As part of the relaxed vibe Paul and Clare wanted, the food included a hog roast at their wedding breakfast, with a wood-fired pizza oven later on to keep everyone going into the evening.
After their first dance to Feeder’s ‘Feeling A Moment’, we headed into one of the highlights of the day… the ‘DJ Battle Jam’ - something that Paul and Clare were sooooo excited about!! This was a part of the day that they really wanted to WOW their guests. And it didn’t disappoint - it was amazing!
They battled it out on the decks, each choosing their favourite drum and bass tracks to see who could win the crowd over the best. Here’s the thing… their guests had no idea at all of what was about to happen before the battle started (something they had both kept a close secret)!
To say that the party really kicked off at this point is an understatement. Just brilliant! Thank goodness for that pizza to keep everyone fuelled up!
A fantastic wedding day full of love, family, friends and celebration.
What a fantastic, warm-hearted couple!
