Avoid Overheating on your Wedding Day

Are you looking for a beautiful, rustic place in East Sussex for your wedding? Blackstock Country Estate, just outside Hellingly, is well worth a look.

With rustic barns and breathtaking views across rolling hills, it works just as well for an intimate gathering as for a big celebration.

Russell and Kat’s wedding here was fantastic. Emotional and fun-filled all in one, with more than a few happy tears from the groom!

As a Blackstock Country Estate wedding photographer, here’s a look at how their day unfolded.

The Details

The day started with the little details, from Kat’s perfume to her lace shoes.

A Ceremony in the Barn

The ceremony took place in the barn, under a canopy of hanging flowers.

Russell couldn’t hold back the tears as Kat walked down the aisle.

The ring exchange took place beneath a beautiful white flower arch, and the confetti followed straight after.

Group Photos and the Gazebo

With everyone gathered on the barn veranda, the group photo was a real celebration.

Then it was off to the wooden gazebo, with blue skies overhead.

Portraits at Sunset

The black timber barns make a striking backdrop for portraits.

And as the sun went down, the views across the rolling hills were simply breathtaking.

Wedding Breakfast and Speeches

The barn was beautifully dressed for the wedding breakfast.

The speeches had everyone in stitches, from the top table to the youngest guests.

Cake and First Dance

To finish, Russell and Kat cut their cake, then took to the floor beneath the wagon wheel chandelier.
