Jaime and Ian married at Brighton Register Office during a brief break from Covid lockdown.
Brilliant as that day was, numbers were restricted, so lots of their friends couldn’t be there. So they decided to celebrate their marriage again a year later, almost to the day, with a party at the Brighton Harbour Hotel on the seafront.
As a Brighton Harbour Hotel wedding photographer, I can tell you it was pretty special!
After a year of waiting, Jaime and Ian finally got to celebrate with everyone they love.

If your own wedding plans have had to change, a celebration party like this is a brilliant way to bring everyone together.
The DJ set the mood from the start, and the lights turned the room into a proper party.

Here are just a few photos from the dance floor, which was packed all night!

Friends who’d waited a year to celebrate certainly made up for lost time.

Jaime and Ian’s celebration was everything a wedding party should be. Joyful, loud and full of the people who matter most.
If you’re planning a wedding or celebration party in Brighton, I’d love to hear about it.
