Avoid Overheating on your Wedding Day

Liz and James’ seaside wedding in West Sussex took place in the iconic Grade II listed Worthing Dome by the sea.

They were most looking forward to having all of their friends and family together in one place and sharing in their special day with them.

Also, they wanted to get married on the coast, and are big film fans, so a cinema on the beach was just the perfect wedding venue! Their favourite feature, the ‘Whispering Gallery’ at the top of the dome, used for the ceremony, has amazing panoramic views overlooking the sea and Worthing pier!

Bridal prep took place in a hotel along the coast road, followed by a First Look between Liz and James in nearby gardens, where I photographed just the two of them seeing each other all dressed up for the first time. It was a truly emotional moment taking time out for each other before the ceremony.

Three VW Campervan trips took Mum, bridesmaids, Liz and her Dad to the venue was all it took and before they knew it, it was time for the ceremony!

When I asked them what inspired their wedding decor they told me “An explosion of colour! We didn’t want to have a generic white, silver, gold theme, and wanted something that would stand out and make it more of a celebration, with little added touches based on our hobbies and interests to make it personal to us.”

Colour was literally everywhere! Liz had spent months making multicoloured origami that was suspended in the Whispering Gallery. The wedding flowers were packed full of colour, and Liz’s rainbow coloured Converse ‘All Stars’ set off her dress perfectly too! Oreo, the flower dog even had his own special wedding collar and badge!

A perfect day for a fantastic couple with warm hearts, amazing personalities, family and friends.

Here’s a selection of images from the day…
