Liz & James’s Colourful Seaside Wedding at the Worthing Dome

Liz and James’s seaside wedding took place at the iconic, Grade II listed Worthing Dome by the sea.

They wanted to get married on the coast, and they’re big film fans, so a cinema on the beach was just perfect!

More than anything, they were looking forward to having all their friends and family together in one place.

As a Worthing Dome wedding photographer, this was one of the most colourful days I’ve ever photographed.

Bridal Prep by the Sea

Bridal prep took place in a hotel along the coast road.

The youngest bridesmaids were full of excitement, with colourful flower crowns to match the day.

A First Look in the Gardens

Liz and James chose a first look in nearby gardens, where I photographed just the two of them seeing each other all dressed up for the first time.

It was a truly emotional moment, taking time out for each other before the busy day began.

Three Trips in a VW Campervan

Liz’s dad saw her in her dress, and then it was time to go.

Three VW campervan trips took Mum, the bridesmaids, Liz and her dad to the Dome.

A Ceremony in the Whispering Gallery

Their favourite feature at the Worthing Dome is the Whispering Gallery at the top of the dome, and that’s where the ceremony took place.

It has amazing panoramic views over the sea and Worthing Pier.

Confetti, Colour and Oreo the Flower Dog

Outside, the confetti came flying.

The sea breeze caught Liz’s veil beautifully, and Oreo the flower dog had his own special wedding collar and badge!

An Explosion of Colour

When I asked Liz and James what inspired their decor, they told me “An explosion of colour!” They wanted something that stood out, with little touches based on their hobbies and interests.

Liz had spent months making multicoloured origami that hung in the Whispering Gallery, and even the cake had a personal touch.

A perfect day for a fantastic couple with warm hearts and amazing personalities.

A Colourful Seaside Wedding at the Worthing Dome

Liz and James’s wedding was bright, joyful and completely them, from the rainbow Converse to the campervans.
