David & Debbie’s Wedding at Oatlands Park Hotel

Some couples want a wedding that breaks all the rules. David and Debbie wanted the opposite, a day that honoured tradition, family and community.

Their ceremony took place at St Mary’s Church nearby, then it was off to Oatlands Park Hotel in Weybridge for a touch of luxury for the rest of the day.

As an Oatlands Park wedding photographer, I loved how this day blended a heartfelt church service with a grand Surrey celebration.

A Ceremony at St Mary’s Church

David and Debbie chose St Mary’s Church because their children were baptised there. It was a lovely way to honour tradition and their local community.

More than anything, they were looking forward to their family and friends coming together to celebrate.

A Touch of Luxury at Oatlands Park Hotel

From the church, it was on to Oatlands Park Hotel, with its grand arched entrance and elegant interiors.

Purple and Lemon in Memory of Marjorie

The wedding breakfast room was decorated in purple and lemon, in memory of David’s mother, Marjorie. These were her favourite colours.

It was such a thoughtful way to include her in their celebrations.

Cake and a First Dance

After the wedding breakfast, David and Debbie cut the cake and took to the floor for their first dance.

Then, of Course, There’s the Band!

And then the band started, and the dance floor didn’t stop for the rest of the night.
