East Grinstead Wedding Venues
Looking for wedding venues in East Grinstead and the surrounding area? There’s a great choice to choose from including relaxed, cozy, luxury, boutique and more.
Here are some of my favourites with links to their websites.
Ashdown Park Hotel: A stunning neo-Gothic Grade II listed mansion house in the heart of the Ashdown Forest with a choice of period rooms, beautifully landscaped grounds, with a lovely secret garden.
Buxted Park Hotel: Built in 1722 by Sir Thomas Medley, this 18th-century Palladian mansion house with a magnificent Victorian orangery and romantic period room is set in 312 acres of lush parkland. You can dine beneath chandeliers and finish your day in a bedroom once frequented by prestigious guests including William Wordsworth, Winston Churchill and Marlon Brando.
Buckhurst Park: With its spectacular views of Buckhurst Park, its gardens and lakes, Buckhurst Park is the beautiful ancestral home of William Sackville, the 11th Earl De La Warr, and his wife Anne. To begin your special day, the nearby beautiful Parish Church of St Michael and All Angels, with ancient ties to the Sackville family, is available for your wedding ceremony if you would like this.
The Ravenswood: Located near the Ashdown Forest, 10 minutes to The Bluebell Railway, and just 50 minutes from London, The Ravenswood is a beautiful and unique location with stunning backdrops, both inside and outside of the building. Ever popular for weddings due to the beautiful grounds and various locations suitable for stunning wedding portraits.
Hendall Manor Barns: Hendall Manor Barns is a family owned, private and discreetly positioned exclusive use, dry hire wedding venue in the heart of the countryside. Occupying an elevated position south of the Ashdown Forest you can benefit from the exclusive use of the whole venue, including their stunning enclosed Terrace and Lawn.
The Yoghurt Rooms: Just outside of East Grinstead this venue includes a wonderful oak-beamed barn with a huge open fireplace, chesterfield sofas, grand windows and imposing timber doorways, the Yoghurt Rooms barn's proportions are epic, seating up to 150 guests for your ceremony, dinner and evening do.
