A Ceremony Steeped in Emotion

As a Sussex wedding photographer specializing in emotional storytelling, Josh and Emily’s wedding was a joy to photograph.

Nestled in the picturesque town of Lewes, Pelham House became the welcoming winter setting for their unforgettable wedding! From the First Look with Emily and her Dad, through to the dancing in the evening it was a special wedding.

The ceremony was filled with love and laughter. As Emily, radiant in her white gown, walked down the aisle with her Dad, the room fell silent. Josh, overcome with emotion, watched his bride with a tear in his eye. Their heartfelt vows, brimming with humor, love, and promises for a lifetime together, resonated with everyone present.

Singing Waiters at the Wedding Breakfast

As the wedding breakfast progressed, the atmosphere took an unexpected turn, erupting with laughter and surprise! Emily and Josh had no idea it was coming… suddenly a waiter dropped a serving tray that smashed to the ground in front of the top table. After shocked looks from the room the waiters burst into song, serenading them and their guests with a selection of Emily’s favourite songs. They were just incredible – the best singing waiters I’ve seen at a wedding.

Cutting the cake & the First Dance

They really got stuck into the cutting of the cake, which was followed by their first dance. Immediately after, the dance floor was filled with friends and family, creating a brilliant atmosphere that lasted well into the night.

Wedding Sparklers

Despite the on and off rain we captured the fun and laughter of their wedding with a sparkler photo shoot in the evening. We even managed to get everyone’s sparklers lit at the same time as there’s always a guest that’s super keen to start the ball rolling!
